About

BBP Enclosed_Blue01.png

The Blue Bag Project is built on a simple belief: it is not about what you have, it is about what you give. When someone you love is facing a hard season, flowers do not always fit. A Blue Bag is a practical way to say, “You are not alone.”

Inspired by Richard Reyes, a Stage IV colorectal cancer survivor, and powered by Operation Positive Vibes, the Blue Bag Project was created to bring comfort to people facing life’s hardest seasons. What began as support for cancer patients during treatment has grown into something bigger, serving individuals and families navigating serious illness, mental health struggles, and moments when hope matters most. This mission is also personal to me, as my mother is currently battling breast cancer.

We take durable, high-quality backpacks and turn them into thoughtful care packages filled with practical comfort items and encouragement. With the help of strategic partners and supporters like you, we deliver more than a bag; we deliver a reminder that someone cares and that no one has to fight alone.

Operation Positive Vibes shows up at community events to raise awareness and offer practical hope about cancer, cancer screenings, mental health, stress, and overall family wellness. We connect people with information, resources, and conversations that encourage early detection, emotional support, and healthier responses to life’s toughest challenges. Our goal is to educate, empower, and remind people that they do not have to face hard seasons alone.
